Hoodia : Medically Proven to Work?

A lot of companies talk about having accreditations that prove they are the real deal, the most common one is a CITES certificate proving the Hoodia’s place of origin and of the product itself being laboratory tested by Alkemist Pharmaceuticals.
There are a variety of other certificates and laboratory companies that can also confirm the above and provide further reassurance.
Many companies have already jumped on the band wagon of claiming to have the testing of Alkemist Pharmaceuticals and a CITE Certificate to prove their products are the real deal. They make the statement; make the claim and some even more importantly provide documentation on their website.
But here is the thing. Just because they have got the certificates does not mean that they are still not lying.
By the same token, a lot of other companies choose to falsely put on a CITES certificate onto their website even though it is not theirs. They have essentially stolen it, and have blacked out the relevant information that would prove otherwise.
Go look on the web now. We are confident that when you search Hoodia websites, many of them contain certificates with either blacked out sections or even worse, out of date.
So what do you do? One you avoid Hoodia products that black out sections on their certificate and two, you use Hoodia products that can further back the above.
A few other cetifications to consider are the Organics Annex Certificate and a Certificate of Analysis.
Organics Annex Certificate – proves that there were no ‘middle men’ involved who could have interfered with the product while it was being exported to UniqueHoodia.
Certificate of Analysis – is issued to the Hoodia Gordonii supply before it enters the country, proving that it is 100% pure Hoodia Gordonii. This certificate shows that it was also tested under HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography).
