And the reason for such a difference? Authenticity.
You see, pure unaltered Hoodia Gordonii is rare and endangered.
After years of over harvesting, the plant has been brought to the brink of extinction, and as a result the FDA has had to step in and control its exportation.
Whilst other parts of the world such as Texas and China claim to grow the real hoodia gordonii plant – which to an extent they do – the quality and effectiveness of their Hoodia plant is reduced due simply to the soil it is grown in.
It’s all about location, and the only real place Hoodia Gordonii does naturally grow is in South Africa.
